The basic functionality of any juicer is to make the health-conscious owner’s life easier. With the Hurom you just feed your produce into the feed chute. The large auger allows the device to slowly chew up fruit and veggies with ease. Pulp and juice are collected in a strainer basket, where the pulp is directed through a pulp chute into the pulp container while the juice is filtered into the juice chute and juice container.

In our testing, the Hurom weaved everything we threw at it with amazing efficiency, and almost silently. We always ended up with only fresh juice in our glass, and on top of that it practically cleaned up after itself. If you’re like us, you’ll really love that feature.

We know that some people might not want to bother peeling oranges when making their own freshly squeezed orange juice, but we’ll be straight with you—in our testing, there’s no question that peeling the rind off the oranges resulted in a better tasting juice. Although the manufacturer does not recommend dishwashing Hurom parts and nor do we, it really does not matter. When it came time to give our juicer a full cleaning, we found the process quick and painless. We just took it apart and washed everything by hand with warm water. The entire ordeal took less than 2 minutes. If you’re like us, you’ll find that pretty impressive.
